The Barking Ghost, by R.L. Stine
Cooper is scaredest scaredy-cat ever he is afraid of his own shadow -- well that's what every one else says about him and that's when the Holmes's moved into some spooky woods and a spooky house and he starts seeing things like two evil looking dogs and hears dogs howling at night but no one believes a very alert person and that's when he actually meets the dogs then he turns into the dogs!Do you know what he will do?You will have to read to find out.
What I like about the book is the cover,I just LOVE the cover of the book because I LOVE dogs and it doesn't matter how they look I always love them even if they look scary and have red eyes and have huge fangs that they are showing I just want to hug them but I know that I can't.This book isn't that scary but it is kind of funny at the end.So if you want scary and funny there you go,but this is like the only one out of sixteen that I've read and I've got more to read so hold your horses about funny and scary.
